Holiday Wall Decor Ideas - What Is Your Flavor?

!±8± Holiday Wall Decor Ideas - What Is Your Flavor?

When it comes to decorating your home for the holidays, it is important to make sure it portrays how you feel and your ideas. There are many different ideas out there, but you need to find what is right for you and your style personality. Keep in mind that the most boring walls are blank walls and this is why find substantial decorations for your walls is essential. There are endless options and you do not have to break the bank to make your home look great. Let's take a look at some basic ideas that can not only be used during the holidays, but year around.

The first idea is to use leftover pieces of holiday wrapping paper or fabric and frame it. You can make it in any size. Also, if you take the time to do a set, you will have a beautiful gallery piece to hang in your home. Another idea is to paint. However, you will not just use any type of paint, but chalkboard paint. Again, you can do this on wood and frame it so that you can remove it after the holidays. This is a useful piece of wall décor that your family can use to write how they feel during the holidays. You can also put all of the holiday cards that you have been saving to use. Take your favorites and create a collage of them. Once you are finished you can have them framed. This way the cards will no longer be in a box in the attic, but displayed for everyone to enjoy.

Some other holiday wall décor ideas include using shadow boxes. These are display boxes made to hang on the wall to display valuable and personal items. For instance, that teddy bear you received for Christmas when you were small can now be displayed for all to see. Simply put it in a shadow box with other holiday memories and now you have a treasured memory.

You can also buy inexpensive vinyl shutters to hang on the wall. Of course, you will not just hang the shutters and leave them. They can be used to hand the holiday cards you receive throughout the season. With a display like this, you can show your appreciation for the cards as well as display them in a functional and stylish way. No matter what you do, make sure your holiday wall décor is right for you.

Many unpleasant musty smells from washing machines come from clogging of laundry detergents and fabric softener inside the washer. As these chemicals starts to build up in those dark small openings, fungus begins to breeds and over time, you will experience those nauseating stenches that smells like mildew.

Want to remove those washing machine smell now? Here are some handy tips to remove those smells without paying an arm or leg for it.

1. Put white vinegar
An inexpensive method to clean your washing machine, put one cup of white vinegar into your washer. Do this for twice a week.

2. Use bleach
Your washer will come out clean and smell-free if you add some detergents with a cupful of bleach. Use medium to hot water to wash the detergent down the washing machine.

3. Leave washing cover open
Whether you are using a top loader or the front loading washing machine, do not immediately close the cover when the washing completes. Always keep them open when not in use and let any water within them dries off.

4. Use cleanser
Try Lysol cleanser, oxi-clean or smelly washer cleaner to do the job. These cleaners are designed to remove odors effectively, and contains chemical powerful enough to get rid of any unwanted fungus growing inside the washer which causes the foul smell.

5. Borax
Mix some borax with your laundry detergent. This mixture can act as a fungicide to remove the mildew odor. Remember to make sure the washing machine cover and tray remains open after the wash to allow the moisture to dissipate.

6. Soda crystals
Also know as Sodium carbonate decahydrate, it is very effective as a degreaser as well as removal agent for cleaning the washing machine. Dissolves a small cup of soda crystals in hot water and pour it with a long wash into the washer machine. You can also it tiles, hoods or even your cooker tops too.
